Our client is seeking a Locum Pharmacist to join their team and work closely with the community. The pharmacy is set to open in early April, and they are looking for someone who can help them to build their business and services until they find the perfect person for the long term. They already have a team in place, but they need someone who can help them to grow and take their business to the next level.
Their store will be located in the vibrant city of Mackay known for its stunning natural beauty, tropical climate, and relaxed lifestyle, Mackay is a fantastic place to stay and work.
Key responsibilities:
Dispensing prescriptions and providing exceptional customer service
Working closely with the nursing home to provide medication management
Managing the pharmacy and ensuring compliance with regulations
Building and maintaining relationships with customers and healthcare providers
Being involved in all aspects of the pharmacy, including ordering and stock control

Requirements for the role:
Full registration with AHPRA
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with dispensing and working with nursing homes would be an advantage
