The core objective of the Logistics and Inventory Specialist (LIS) is to coordinate the day-to-day inbound activities and communications with internal BSC stakeholders and our warehouse and carrier partners. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the planning team on the inventory optimisation initiatives and various different projects.

Key Competencies about the Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role or degree qualified 
  • Understanding of Import/export trade compliance and dangerous goods 
  • 3PL/Distribution Centre environment, including process improvement, change management, SOP development and maintenance. 
  • Understanding of good storage and distribution practices 
  • High level of communication skills (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and ability to engage stakeholders 
  • SAP WMS and TMS experience desired but not essential
  • Microsoft Office 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 
  • Demonstrates perseverance and resilience 
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and to work within a team environment 
  • Attention to detail
