Join an Australian import & distribution business as their Logistics Coordinator, joining the team in South Sydney on a permanent basis. Opportunity for an immediate start.
Your new role
In your new role as Logistics Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end transport coordination, including planning of in-house fleet for Sydney metro deliveries, booking external couriers, generating consignment notes, and tracking deliveries.
- Managing inventory across multiple third-party warehouses, communicating with 3PL providers, processing orders, and invoicing as appropriate.
- Supporting across the wider team, including working directly with customers regarding delivery timelines, delays, and any potential stock issues.
- Previous experience in a similar role, with demonstrated exposure to transport coordination, 3PL management, and inventory control.
- Good systems competency, with a solid grasp of the MS Office package and ERP systems understanding.
- A strong customer focus, with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
