Sugar Australia is seeking a supply chain specialist in an exciting new opportunity of Logistics Support Officer based in Yarraville. Reporting to the National Supply Chain Planning Manager, join a growing supply chain team supporting our Sugar Australia and Wilmar Ingredients businesses.
Work for an iconic and reputable Australian food manufacturer in a permanent full time role based at our head office in Yarraville.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Data entry of Import/Export documentation
- Utilise logistics network to minimise additional freight expenses
- Maintain and update import costing information
- Scheduling bulk logistics
- Processing invoices and pursue payments to vendors locally and overseas
- Creating POs and managing orders in SAP
- Daily communication with suppliers, carriers and customers
- Support wider logistics team functions
- IBC packaging inventory management
- Tertiary Education in Logistics / Supply Chain discipline
- Import/Export processing and documentation in a busy environment experience
- Freight tracking and reporting experience
- Stock management experience
- RCTI experience is desirable
- SAP experience is highly desirable
- Exceptional customer & stakeholder communication
- Excellence Microsoft Office knowledge, data entry and attention to detail
- Issue resolution and problem solving skills
- APICS Qualification is desirable
