About the role
Reporting to the National Maintenance Planning Manager; choose your desired location at any of our major centres in QLD (Mackay, Gladstone, Toowoomba). Flexibility is offered for the right candidate!
The Long Term Maintenance Planner is responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining a +12 week look ahead in the work management planning cycle
- Working closely with production, mobile fleet managers, operational planning, reliability and maintenance teams to enable visibility of plans
- Validation and improvement of PM planning cycles, data quality and schedule compliance
- Long term planning of materials, resources, equipment and contractors for planned outages and shutdown maintenance works
- Partnering with maintenance planners and supervisors to provide support with scheduled shutdowns
- Providing shutdown scheduling support using Microsoft Projects
- Developing budgets in accordance with PM strategies and future shutdowns
- Acting as the subject matter expert for maintenance planners in the application of work management and shutdowns framework
- Continually improving maintenance planning and scheduling, purchasing, materials planning, inventory, data management and job reporting systems
About your experience
Our ideal candidate has had extensive experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within any industry with preference for those with fixed plant or mobile plant in a materials handling environment. Exceptional communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, prioritisation, planning and scheduling skills are a must in this position. You should also have:
- CMMS experience (SAP desirable)
- Strong fixed plant or mobile plant knowledge
- Awareness and understanding of budget constraints
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Knowledge of asset management and reliability principals
