The role
Based in Darwin and working closely with the Logistics Manager you'll be responsible for the effective and safe delivery of LPG products to Domestic, Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural, and Autogas customers. With a focus on safety and OH&S compliance, you will ensure that Origin is meeting needs of our customers across the region. We're invested in further developing your career through providing training and up-skilling; with a view to progressing into positions with higher levels of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the delivery of LPG to commercial customers
- General maintenance and cleaning duties of vehicles
- Loading and/or unloading LPG cylinder trucks, both within and outside of the LPG Bulk Terminal
- Participation in safety activities including HSE meetings, observations, emergency response, incident reporting and audits
- Ensuring that deliveries are made in an accurate and timely manner as per the daily scheduled requirements
- Ensure that touch PC's are uploaded at the completion of each shift
- Undertake and complete daily / weekly / monthly checks of assigned delivery vehicles and complete appropriate checklists in accordance with Origin Energy Operational Procedures
- Reporting any customer Site Installation Defects or Hazards in the required format
Is this you?
To be considered for this role, you will be experienced working in a logistics environment and display the below licences/attributes:
- A Heavy Rigid Licence is required for this role
- Dangerous Good licence is advantageous, however can be obtained throughout your employment with Origin
- Experience adhering to health and safety requirements
- Motivated and able to use your own initiative and take accountability of your allocated daily tasks
- Good customer service skills
