We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Fleet Scheduler, based in Dandenong or Geelong. The primary objective of this role is to manage the day-to-day safety and operational requirements of the LPG Fleet in Western Victoria.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Reporting to the VIC State Manager, the LPG Fleet Scheduler is responsible for the safe and efficient transport and delivery of bulk LPG products to customers throughout VIC and SA.
- Although this is a Monday to Friday role, there is a requirement to take calls after hours and weekends and potentially alter schedules to meet changing demands as they arise.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and scheduling deliveries to meet customer demands.
- Managing stock levels at customer sites.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain Driver Rosters including driver and vehicle compliance to meet company expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL -
- Have demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Be able to think outside the box, problem solve whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Be competent in working as part of a dedicated team and autonomously.
- Be able to take ownership of the role.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in bulk fuels / LPG scheduling.
- Fatigue Management Accreditation BFM (desirable)
- Dangerous Good License (desirable)
- Excellent time management skills. (essential)
- Be able to work under pressure and adaptable to change. (essential)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and spreadsheets.
- Ability to learn internal computer platforms.
