The Role
This is a newly created position as the company embarks on their next significant growth journey.
As the M&A Analyst, you will work closely with the CEO and CFO who have overseen numerous prior transactions. They are willing to train the right person into a role that will focus on looking for acquisition targets, making initial contact with these businesses and meeting them. From here you will put together valuation calculations and enjoy gaining exposure across the transaction lifecycle.
Your Background
To be considered for this M&A Analyst role you will meet the following criteria:
Confidence and well-developed interpersonal skills to enable you to network and liaise effectively with stakeholders and targets
Excellent business acumen and an analytical mind
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This would be an ideal role for an individual with a CA background who has worked in corporate finance, transaction advisory services or similar
Those with a great attitude and desire to work in the M&A space from an audit background are welcome to apply
Any prior relatable experience or market knowledge of acquisition opportunities would be highly regarded but is not a pre-requisite
