SalaryDue to rapid company growth, this Engineering/Fabrication company in the heart of Albury are seeking Machine operators for their busy workshop.
We are looking for Machine operators to run our Peddinghaus drill line, plasma plate cutter and Daito DCM. Training will be provided on how to run the machines, but these positions would ideally be suited to a person who has experience running automated CNC & milling machines and lathes, and who can read technical drawings
The duties will include
- Operation of Peddinghaus plate cutter, Peddinghaus drill line and Daito DCM (training will be provided)
- Forklift operation
- Maintenance of the machines
- Maintaining a safe work environment
Skills and experience
The successful applicants will have:
- A current forklift license (or be prepared to get one ASAP)
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to learn
- Previous CNC or milling machine experience would be an advantageous
- Good communication skills, and able to work in a team environment
All applicants must have good communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment and be able to pass a drugs and alcohol screening.
