Machine Operator | Day Shift | Oakleigh South

Located in Oakleigh South, this company is a family-own business in the plastic and packaging industry.

Due to an increase in demand, they are seeking an experienced machine operator working Monday to Friday from 6am - 2pm with occasional overtime.

Reporting to the team leader you will become a key member of the manufacturing team.

Duties

• Setting up/operating a slitter machine.
• Monitoring of equipment function and resolving minor issues.
• Product change over and cleaning of the machines.
• Performing quality checks of products for defects.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records

Skills and Experience

• Previous machine operating experience
• Proven ability to work on a high speed \ fast-paced production line environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• GMP and HACCP knowledge would be an advantage.
• A high attention to detail and time management skills;
• Reliable with a strong work ethic;
• Must have full working rights within Australia with no limitations
