Reporting to the Property and Hotel Services Manager the Maintenance Attendant is responsible for maintaining the buildings, equipment and grounds of McLean Care Ltd in accordance with organisational standards and legislative requirements.
Essential Skills
- Ability to operate and repair equipment within their level of expertise and qualification
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental objectives
- Sound communication skills that foster good working relationships
- Demonstrated methodical approach to problem solving using logic and knowledge
- Basic computer skills
Knowledge
- Knowledge of the safe use of tools and equipment necessary to complete a task
Experience
- Demonstrated experience in general maintenance of buildings, equipment and grounds
Qualifications
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
Desirable
- Forklift license or willingness and ability to obtain
- Working at Heights Competency or willingness to obtain
- Chemical Handling certificate
