About the Role
An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Commercial Leadto join our Maintenance and Outage team at Loy Yang. Reporting to the Maintenance Improvement & Contract Administration Manager, you will be responsible for managing commercial functions within the team and overseeing good contract and commercial governance including solid vendor management across the site.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing and influencing implementation of contract strategies at Loy Yang in collaboration with key internal/external stakeholders.
- Performing accurate data analysis and analytical support to procurement partners and maintenance stakeholders.
- Providing strategic direction for the planning and management of continuous improvement and transformative activities.
- Providing Procurement and Commercial advice to a broad range of stakeholders.
- Managing, leading and supporting contract governance and management to realise agreed commercial outcomes.
- Facilitating and managing the creation of Maintenance Contractor Scopes, Contract Orders, KPI’s and PO’s.
- Facilitating the development and implementation of Contract Management Plans.
About You
To be successful in the role, you will be an established Contract Management / Commercial professional, ideally with experience working within a heavy industrial setting.
What you’ll bring to the table
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including a demonstrated capacity to develop viable procurement strategies.
- Ability to identify business drivers and issues facing a large-scale heavy industry setting, and the ability to assist in translating these into contract requirements.
- Effective negotiating and influencing skills in a collaborative manner.
- Experience in developing and implementing end-to-end Source to Contract activities, commercial outputs, strategy developments.
