About the role
UGLs Manufacturing & Maintenance business are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join the locomotive maintenance team. This role will be offered on a permanent full time basis and be based at our Hunter Valley Maintenance Centre on Clyde Street in Hamilton North, Newcastle.
Reporting to the Maintenance Planner, the role of Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for working with the production team, customers (where applicable) and other key stakeholders to estimate and agree budgets and timescales, plan work to be included in the maintenance schedule then ensure that maintenance schedules are met, and work is completed on time. This role will work with purchasing, production and warehouse to expedite product through the relevant business area.
About you
- Trade certificate, Diploma or further education is required.
- Locomotive maintenance experience required
- Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, email.
- Experienced in the use of SAP & SAM Mobility to review and analyse production performance.
- Good knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
