ABOUT THE ROLE
The Maintenance Manager, Assets is responsible for all aspects associated with the day-to-day running of planned, cyclical, compliance, and programmed maintenance services. This position will be required to manage and oversee the operational service delivery to ensure on time and on budget delivery of Assets related programs in line with Hume’s policy and procedures, as well as regulatory, quality, safety obligations and customer expectations.
The Maintenance Manager will work closely with key internal stakeholders, to ensure a cohesive service is delivered to the wider organisation and support the General Manager, Assets to deliver Hume’s strategic plan. Based in the Maitland region, the Maintenance Manager will be required to travel between all Hume offices; regional locations (Maitland and Raymond Terrace) and may be required to travel across the wider Sydney region as required.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Residential Property scoping and property condition reporting, as well as preparing safe work method statements as required,
- Providing accurate and timely management reports on project status, costs and risk,
- Managing the planned programs through accurate input of data for the development and update of the planned maintenance program.
- Building a customer centric culture and focused on increasing customer experience and improving trust with our customers
- Leading and supporting a small team to successfully deliver, considering both the technical, administrative and customer service outcomes,
- Conducting periodic contractor performance reviews as well as pre, during and post-work inspections; and
- Maintaining robust contractor and supplier engagement to ensure standards of delivery are achieved and continuously improved.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU
You must be able to demonstrate relevant experience in:
- Experience, Degree or knowledge of contractor management, Trade Management, and project /program management within housing/residential services
- A comprehensive knowledge of the LAHC SOR MRP 08 codes is desired
- Proven experience of leading and managing a small team
- Customer centric and business improvement focus
- NSW White Card
- NSW Driver’s license and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required;
- Strong MS Office skills; and
