The Holcim Australia Aggregates business operates over 70 quarry sites producing hard rock, sand and gravel materials essential for the construction industry.

This is a superb opportunity for a maintenance professional to be based at our Pakenham Quarry which is an important site in Holcim's Aggregates business. In this key role you will manage & coordinate all site maintenance activities at agreed budgeted and forecasted costs and ensure it is performed in a safe & efficient manner - maximising plant availability and utilising all available resources to the maximum potential.
Detailed accountabilities are found in the Position Description which is available upon request and will include:
Managing the plant maintenance program to ensure optimum benefit is derived from the assets
Liaising with maintenance suppliers to review their performance against site targets
In conjunction with the Maintenance Planner, reviewing and maintaining Preventative Maintenance Routines (PMR's), task lists and scheduled maintenance activities
Coordinating & chairing maintenance meetings with key stakeholders to determine action plans for close out of scheduled and rectification maintenance activities
Maintaining equipment inspection sheets, ensuring currency of sheets in use
Completing monthly maintenance forecasts
Contributing to the Annual Budget Plan
Identifying solutions to assist in achievement of site maintenance goals

About you:
Relevant tertiary or trade qualifications are a preference.
Strong maintenance management and leadership experience in similar environments or in related sectors e.g.. heavy manufacturing.
Credible experience of safety orientated leadership and ideally a working knowledge of safety management systems, relevant legislation and regulations.
Solid appreciation of Preventive Management and Risk Management strategies and practices related to plant & equipment
Experience in a similar quarry environment would be ideal but is not essential.
Excellent people management & communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplined environment to deliver productivity and cost improvements.
Competence in required SAP functions
Good Microsoft Excel skills
