Maintenance Manager - Full Time

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Maintenance Manager to work with one of Assetlink's significant clients. You will supervise the operations of the maintenance team as well as deliver a high level of presentation and maintenance standards. The successful applicant will have proven experience in managing the general maintenance of a large Shopping Centre, Commercial Building or similar large public venue.

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring high levels of maintenance standards are met and exceed contract requirements.
• Managing a small team of maintenance personnel and work together with the Facilities Manager and integrated services team.
• Providing relevant training to staff on site.
• Ensuring WH&S policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintaining compliance standards and quality systems.

Desired Skills and Experience

To be considered for the position you must have the following:

• A Trade Qualification and hands on experience. EWP Ticket is essential.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience leading and motivating a team.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a naturally positive attitude.
• Impeccable communication skills both written and verbal.
• Outstanding problem solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to give direction and instruction to people.
• Ability to multi-task, be flexible and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Can-do attitude with high energy.
