The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our Planning and Contract Services Team.

The Role
As the Maintenance Planner you will be responsible for:
Scheduling planned outages for preventative and reactive maintenance tasks
Key point of contact between Works Delivery and Network Operations to ensure efficient access for maintenance teams
Aligning major servicing that can cause network disruption with other planned network outages
Championing continuous improvement to the planning systems and process
Assisting with monitoring and analysing planned work compared with completed work to identify areas of improvement
Identifying and rectifying equipment and resourcing conflicts across the Works Delivery teams
Identifying issues in planning processes and the integration with other systems
Scheduling meetings with Maintenance Delivery and other key stakeholders to identify any risks, constraints or opportunities
Undertaking reporting and analysis as required by the business including month end, forecasts and budgets
Supporting other Asset Planners through workload sharing and leave coverage
About You
Our ideal candidate will need to have prior experience with financial principals and reporting requirements, including preparing budgets and analysing cost variances.
You will need to demonstrate that you have exceptional planning and organisational skills and whilst scheduling experience would be an advantage it is not essential.
In addition you will have experience with a variety of different software packages and enjoy learning new systems.
Also key to the role will be the ability to work in a team combined with a high level of self-motivation to ensure all deadlines are met.
