The Company
Our client is a market leader in their industry, delivering innovative fresh bread products to the retail, food service, grocery, and convenience market. Due to planned business growth, we are seeking an experienced and Maintenance Planner to join theorganisation.
The RoleReporting to the Engineering Manager, this role is vitalin ensuring all manufacturing equipment runs properly across the entire facility 24/7. Your experience will include the creation and management of Preventative Maintenance Schedules and the Spare Parts Inventory. Your effective planning, collaboration and communication skills will ensure you maintain great working relationships with all management and your mechanical aptitude will help train others who will be maintaining the equipment
Key Responsibilities include:
- Maintain the schedule of required maintenance and completed works
- Liaisonwith Maintenance Supervisors and Department leaders to resource and organise plant and equipment availability
- Identification of Continuous Improvement opportunities
- Maintain a Zero Harm safety approach in all your work
- Ensure all required Spare Parts are purchased, accounted for and assigned appropriately in SAP.
- Ensure all Purchase Orders and Invoices are reconciled
- Create/update Training Manuals on all industrial machines and train assigned team members safely
The Successful Maintenance Planner
The successful Maintenance Plannerwill bring to the role:
- An unwavering safety focus
- Appropriate engineering/relevant qualifications
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a food manufacturing business
- Strong attention to detail and accountability evidenced by exceptional documentation and reporting
- A commitment to the identification of improvements that will either safe time or money
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- A large bank of knowledge various mechanical/manufacturing equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis skills
