Role Responsibilities
The role covers all plant in the NT southern region. You will effectively utilise and drive the CMMS process of Identify,
Plan, Schedule, Execute, Complete and Analyse across all sites. To achieve reductions in availability, reliability and
capacity losses, whilst improving maintenance productivity and reduced costs.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Develop, in consultation with the Assets and Engineering Business Unit and the Southern Region Maintenance
Manager, a detailed weekly and 4-weekly maintenance plan with a 12-weekly forecast plan taking into
consideration resourcing, backlog and preventative maintenance regimes, including the forecasting of future
resource requirements.
2. Ensure planning / programming of resources, materials, subcontractors, plant, safety, productivity, and quality
is undertaken in a manner to enable accurate estimating and recording of all costs for compilation of critical and
analytic reports.
3. Responsible for supply of all resources (including labour, contractors, tools, equipment, and parts etc) to carry
out the activities as planned.
4. Work with the OSPS Maintenance Planner Scheduler and Southern Outage Planner Scheduler to ensure
seamless and continuous support for southern region maintenance teams.
5. Proactively assist in developing and continuously improving preventative maintenance plans and work packs.
6. Actively support the Southern Region Maintenance Manager in achieving Maintenance and respective station
KPI’s.
7. Ensure the CMMS process if followed by all relevant staff at respective sites.
8. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
9. Carry out duties in accordance with Territory Generation’s safety, environmental and quality policy, safety
principles, corporate values and strategies.
Selection Criteria
Essential
1. Relevant tertiary or trade qualification or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience.
2. Sound knowledge and experience in planning and scheduling in power generation or heavy industry, particularly
regarding resource management.
3. High level competence in the use of computer-based maintenance packages, spreadsheets and project
management applications.
4. Effective written communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, procedures, and other relevant
documentation.
5. Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people of diverse
cultures.
6. Working knowledge of industry-based occupational health and safety and commitment to safe working practices.
