Don is currently seeking a full time Maintenance Planner to join our Facilities and Services team on morning shift 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday.

We currently have a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced Maintenance Planner in our Facilities & Services team - You will be working Monday - Friday from 6am until 2:20pm.
Reporting to the Services Manager you will be responsible for the following:
- Planning and organising the maintenance work activities, labour, parts, and time required.
- Issuing weekly maintenance plans
- Organising and chairing backlog review and production planning meetings
- Communicating with trades and team leaders around job status
- KPI reporting
- Maintaining Mex data integrity.
- Organise contractors for work backlog
The ideal applicant will be self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work with minimal supervision. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also be responsible for organising training and development for your team, which is made up from a diverse group of trades. You will have a strong commitment to OH&S and an emphasis on continuous improvement and reliability through the undertaking of planned and preventative maintenance activities.
You will also ideally possess the following:
- Trade, technical or engineering degree is required, with minimum 2 years demonstrated effective trade experience working in a manufacturing environment in the Food, Fast Moving Consumer Goods or Pharmaceutical industries.
- An understanding of preventative maintenance systems and techniques.
- Sound knowledge of high-speed packaging equipment, bearings, seals, shaft repair, conveying systems, etc.
- Advanced computer literacy being skilled in all Microsoft office packages. MEX (CMMS) and SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly planned and organised with good influencing skills is a must.
