Advancing everyday life.Reporting to the Maintenance Procurement & Disposal Superintendent, the Maintenance Procurement & Disposal Coordinator role is to assist in the Procurement and delivery of fit-for-purpose equipment, and to dispose of retired and redundant assets including HME, MV, LV and auxiliary equipment. HVO has a life of Mine equipment Procurement and replacement strategy which includes two rope shovels, an additional fleet of haul trucks, additional & replacement diesel excavators, replacement of the existing Komatsu 830 haul trucks as they reach life, as well as replacement of a large ancillary mining fleet. There is plenty to do here at HVO as we "dig-in" for our future.You will provide visible leadership, advice, and support to the Maintenance, Commercial and Mining teams as well as key support areas such as Environment and Safety & Training to ensure the new assets meet HVO's needs now and into our future. The successful applicant will have a relevant trade or tertiary qualification and demonstrate strong leadership and proven success in a similar role. Computer literacy in Excel and Word are required with experience in Project and SAP highly regarded.Requirements of the role include:Lead the asset Procurement and Disposal function with a strong focus on health, safety, and training and in compliance to the HVO Health & Safety Management System. Determine the appropriate course of action and make recommendations to the Superintendent and Site Senior Leadership team. Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values. Completion of AFE's, Technical Specifications, Plant Safety Files, Master Data compilation and manage the Introduction to Site process to deliver fit-for-purpose new equipment, on time to the required specification, and within budget. Management of the asset disposal process for redundant equipment.About you: Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders. Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. Previous experience successfully performing the same or similar role in the industry. Sound knowledge of risk identification processes, safe work practices and Australian Standards. High levels of resourcefulness, versatility, initiative, personal organisation, and diplomacy. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Deliver machines to the required specifications, on time and within the capital budget. Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment. Project Management experience.
