Your new company Our client is amongst the world's top producers of major commodities, including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium. They extract and process minerals, oil and gas from its production operations located primarily in Australia and the Americas. Your new role As a Maintenance Strategy Specialist, your primary function is to assist with the design and delivery of strategic maintenance objectives for use at Olympic Dam. Your responsibilities include:
Asset Performance Management (APM).
Being a subject-matter expert and going to person for technical advice relating to equipment Maintenance Strategy development, gap analysis, and continuous improvement.
Facilitating workshops and discussions with Stakeholders.
Analysing historical data to identify recurrent failures, and dominant and common failure modes.
Developing strategies utilising an RCM approach and implementation with company systems.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant reliability engineering experience.
Demonstrated relevant maintenance and/or reliability engineering experience within a heavy industry environment
1SAP Maintenance Master Data experience is desirable.
Experience with GE's APM software tool or any other strategy management tool is desirable.
Previous experience with equipment strategy development and implementation, including FMEA/FMECA and RCM processes is mandatory.
