YOUR ROLE
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the Site Manager to lead, direct, and support a team of professionals to achieve operational KPI and meet the budgeted target. Maintain processes that ensure product quality meets customer expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibility for OHS&E of employees, contractors, and visitors and demonstrating appropriate Safety Leadership behaviors
Generating action plans and driving continuous improvement with systems to ensure they are efficient, and transparent and deliver required results.
Continuously driving cost reduction programs within the business and ensuring the lowest costs are achieved.
Monitoring and downgrading where appropriate incoming material.
Monitoring all outgoing material to ensure quality compliance.
Ensure appropriate compliance audits are conducted and issues arising from these audits are rectified in a timely manner and documented to ensure zero non-conformance.
Develop appropriate task lists and convey clear expectations to direct reports to support the achievement of area KPIs, targets, housekeeping standards, and equipment maintenance.
Provide leadership, direction, and support to your team to ensure resources and skills are available to achieve desired budgeted results.
Actively manage and review the performance of direct reports including developing and reviewing KPIs to ensure they are appropriate and accurately measure business progress.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
At least 4 years of experience in managing a team in a process manufacturing environment.
Hands Practical experience in a maintenance environment
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills.
Strong time management skills.
Strong planning and scheduling skills.
Project management experience
Ability to train and train others.
Computer Skill: SAP Kronos, Microsoft Office, CAD
Accounting / Financial Skills
Trade Qualification: Mechanical Fitter
Experience in an FMCG or Manufacturing Facility
Thorough understanding and knowledge of WHS regulations/procedures.
