Where you’ll be working
The town of Tumut, derived from an Aboriginal word meaning ‘quiet resting place by the river’ is a charming base for exploring the NSW Snowy Mountains by winter, and enjoying the natural wonders, outdoor adventures and delicious produce by summer. At any time of the year, you will find the locals strolling or going for a bike ride along the Tumut River Walk the Tumut Wetland or Blowering Dam, you may even find some fly fishing or enjoying water sports including skiing and canoeing.
Our Health Service provides emergency, medical, surgical, and maternity services. Of the 34 beds, 4 are day surgery and 4 are bassinets. A full range of community health services are available including community nursing, allied health and mental health services.
Just over 4 hours from Sydney, and a little over 2 hours from Canberra, make the tree change to Tumut
About the Role
The position of Maintenance Supervisor shall be responsible for the provision of on-site coordination and provision of efficient and effective day to day maintenance services for buildings, plant, equipment, grounds & gardens. This position shall also be responsible, with the assistance of the Maintenance Manager, to supervise and coordinate Asset Management staff based at this facility and contractors and have the ability to utilise their skills to perform hands on tasks on a daily basis at their level of competency.
