Tasks and Qualifications:
The Role:
We currently have a new opportunity for a motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician with a Industrial Electrician background to join our supportive and friendly team.
This Maintenance Technician role, is supporting our customer site at Eastern Creek, NSW . In this role you are required to work day shift:
Monday to Friday - afternoon shift 3.00 pm to 11.00 pm
Not much overtime offered, though there may be some potential weekend work offered at times. The role is permanent full time and will give you a good exposure to a number of systems and technology.
You will be servicing clients' equipment in accordance with project and service agreements, whilst also identifying opportunities for improvement in the manufacture or performance of systems and products. Adhering to and promoting safety standards and work is also a vital component of the role.
What we are looking for:
Successful candidates will have experience in troubleshooting/problem solving equipment faults, be customer focused and ensure high quality service and output is delivered, as well as possessing the following qualifications & experience:
Australian Trade qualification with Certificate III - Electrotechnology Electrician
Must have an Australian Unrestricted Electrical Licence
Must have a reasonable understanding of mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience in previous roles
Any PLC experience is highly regarded, we can provide training on Siemens S7 and SCADA systems
Attributes sought include:
Experience with maintaining mechanical and pneumatic systems
Computerised maintenance systems experience (MEX) is ideal
Experience with automation (conveyors and sortation systems) is an advantage
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics highly regarded
Understanding of OH&S requirements and safe work behaviour
Ability to work in isolation and make decisions
Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships with customers
Must have your own transportation and driver licence.
