Tasks and Qualifications:
The role:
We currently have an opportunity for a motivated and talented Maintenance Technician (Mechanical fitter) to join our supportive and friendly team, supporting one of our major customer sites located in Minchinbury, NSW.
(6pm - 6am) - 12 hour NIGHT shift
4 nights on / 4 nights off
which includes weekdays and weekends as the site operates 24/7
The position is permanent full time night shift, with exceptional remuneration and entitlements are on offer.
You will be servicing clients' equipment in accordance with project and service agreements, whilst also identifying opportunities for improvement in the manufacture or performance of systems and products. Adhering to and promoting safety standards and work is also a vital component of the role.
What we are looking for:
Successful candidates will have experience in troubleshooting / problem solving equipment faults, be customer focused and ensure high quality service and output is delivered, as well as possessing the following qualifications & experience:
Mechanical Trades qualification, Australian recognised (ideally Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade)
Experience with mechanical and pneumatic systems, computerised maintenance systems, and automation (conveyors, vertical cranes & sortation systems) is an advantage
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
Understanding of OH&S requirements
PLC experience/exposure in Siemens S7 and SCADA, WIN CC an advantage
Experience in computerised maintenance systems.
Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships with customers
