Management Accountant | Infrastructure

The Company

Operating in Australia for multiple decades, our client is a well-respected private equity backed infrastructure body. They are a leading provider of a range of critical infrastructure with a growing focus on sustainability. Described by the CEO as one of the best culture's he has worked for, this is a business that has seen rapid growth over the last year. To meet the needs of the expansion, they are hiring a Management Accountant with a strong project focus to assist with the project portfolio, BAU, and process improvement.

The Role

This position will steer project reporting, costing and management on the existing infrastructure portfolio, as well as manage new ventures and key projects to continually grow the business. In brief, the candidate will overlook the following responsibilities:

• Management accounting.
• Adhoc project work.
• Project Costing
• Project Management
• WIP Calculations
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Month-end reporting
• Management Reporting
• Stakeholder Management
• General Journal Entries (small component)
• Ad-Hoc Process Improvement

This role will start as a 6 month temp assignment with the view for the right candidate to move onto a permanent basis.

Your Profile

• Ideally CA or CPA Qualified
• Exposure to Microsoft Navision is highly regarded
• Power BI not necessary but advantageous
• Excellent technical accounting and excel skillset
• Ability to handle a challenging change and growth environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Natural accounting intuition - ability to spot when numbers don't appear correct
