They are seeking a motivated and experienced Management Accountant to join their Finance team and contribute to their mission. As the Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in producing and distributing monthly management reports, conducting financial analysis, and driving the budget/forecast process for the Group. Operating autonomously within their small, dynamic team, you will also contribute to fostering a culture of continuous improvement in financial operations. The RoleThe main responsibilities of the role will include but not limited to:Preparation and distribution of monthly Management Reports, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.Updating and creating finance report templates in the ERP system (TechnologyOne).Coordinating the development of the annual Budget and Forecasts for all entities, ensuring accuracy.Analysing financial results for reporting across various management levels.Assisting clinical trial and research managers with costing calculations and formulating budgets for new grants and trials.Contributing to Policy and Procedure development and reviews, leveraging technology for improved efficiency and accuracy.Completion of surveys to ABS and other organisations.Responsibility for the accuracy of the fixed assets register, including capitalisation, disposal, depreciation calculation, and biennial stocktake.Maintenance of lease register and other related finance registers.Preparation of annual schedules for external auditors, ensuring timely responses to queries.Maintaining the ERP system (TechnologyOne), including system access and updates, and rolling ledgers at the end of the period.Assisting the Head of Finance with other tasks and projects as required. Your ProfileYou will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting and will have a minimum of five years' experience in an accounting related role. Previous experience using Technology One is highly regarded for this role.
