Are you driven and enjoy a challenge? We’re looking for a permanent, full time experienced lead analyst to join the Courts Technology Group!

About the role

The Manager Business Analysis will oversee and coordinate business analysis activities for internal and external clients to meet planned outcomes in accordance with relevant policies, legislation, standards, and service levels.

This position ensures application development is in accordance with the Division’s project management, client engagement, knowledge transfer, communication, change and release management requirements.

This position also drives business reform and ensures complex business needs are translated into solutions and options that satisfy business requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills.
  • A delivery-focused approach with the ability to manage your team’s workload to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to support and manage a team of Senior/Business Analysts by building and maintaining relationships with at all levels.
Eligibility

To be considered eligible for this position, the successful applicant must have substantial experience in a lead analyst role on large complex IT projects.

To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector it is essential that you are an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the duration of the contract.

The Courts Technology Group is responsible for developing and maintaining technology and technological support to meet current and future needs of the courts and tribunals. This includes our Integrated Courts Management System (ICMS) which is vital to the effective running of courts and tribunals in Western Australia (WA). We also support and develop the eCourts Portal, an integrated web portal that offers court and tribunal services to community.

The system is now used across all WA courts and tribunals, with our services helping facilitate the change from manual court and tribunal processes to a fully electronic process.
