About the company
Gippsland Centre Against Sexual Assault (GCASA) is funded by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH), Victoria. GCASA is an Incorporated Association, governed by a community-based Board and is funded to provide comprehensive sexual assault support services and sexually abusive treatment services across the Gippsland region which extends from Bunyip River to the NSW border at Mallacoota, and from the Great Divide to the sea, including Phillip Island. The primary office is in Morwell at the Multidisciplinary Centre (MDC), with an additional office located at Bairnsdale, Warragul, Wonthaggi, with outposted sessions are offered in Orbost, Sale, Leongatha, and Wonthaggi.
About the role
GCASA is seeking to employ a professional, motivated, and experienced Manager for Business Operations for their Morwell office. Reporting to the CEO, the Manager Business Operations is responsible for a large portfolio, consisting of Finance, HR, OH&S, Quality & Service Operations.
The demands of this hands-on role will require the successful incumbent to be based on site in Morwell and have strong commercial acumen. In addition to managing a team, the Business Manager will also provide leadership and management to indirect departmental and business unit support.
The Manager for Business Operations works closely with the CEO and GCASA Board and Finance and HR and administrative personnel, to ensure effective implementation and compliance in the areas of financial, quality management, human resources, and operations management. This role forms part of the Management Team of GCASA.
Successful applicants will also demonstrate:
Tertiary and/or Post Graduate Qualifications in HR and or Finance
A minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (essential)
Human Resources Management experience
Financial reporting and budgeting experience
Logical approach, with strong analytical skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a team player
Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
Intermediate to advanced computer skills using MS Office applications
