Job Description

This newly created role has been established to drive strategies for positioning and growth, through brand profiling activities and pursuit positioning internally and externally, across NSW and ACT (NAC).

Working under the direction of the Clients and Marketing Manager, Australia - and the Regional Managing Director, NAC - this role will report on the NAC marketing and pursuits function to the regional leadership team, providing insights and advice to improve regional performance, creating accountability around actions identified, and ensuring that NAC priorities and focus areas are transitioned through to the larger regional marketing team.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have a degree in marketing or a related discipline. You will also have strong marketing experience within a professional services environment. It’s important to us that you can devise a strategy, but that you’re prepared to be hands on and help deliver. You should be able to demonstrate that you have had success in a similar or related role, with good commercial outcomes.
Representing the NAC marketing function at the monthly leadership team meeting, you will report on Clients and Marketing activities including pipeline work and key opportunities, identifying key priorities, and implementing appropriate action plans.

In conjunction with CI team leadership and the Clients & Marketing Manager – Australia, you will identify business critical bids and head up a high-performance capture planning process with the support of capture managers and the marketing team, as well as providing strategic market input for major bids and client presentations.

Developing and implementing marketing plans to drive the positioning of the business with clients and influencer organizations in NAC, you’ll be working with the ANZ Creative team to ensure adherence to AECOM brand guidelines while taking care to align all marketing activities with global and regional marketing plans and the ANZ strategic growth campaigns.

You understand the value of great client relationships and will be working closely with the Civil Infrastructure team to implement key parts of the Client Experience Plan such as client care and client listening initiatives, helping the team build strong and purposeful relationships and drive business development conversations.

Our team is enthusiastic and passionate about what we do, and we expect the same of you – you need to want to contribute to a culture of collaboration and innovation. Oh, and bring your sense of humor; we work hard, but we like to have fun and a bit of a laugh while doing so.
