This is your opportunity to manage a highly effective and targeted communication account team to support key initiatives that drive an economic agenda for Queensland, stimulating growth and creating more jobs in more industries. You will be a relationship account manager for key business areas of the department and collaborate with other teams within Strategic Communication including Strategy and Insights (S&I) and Digital and Content.
Your duties include:
» Developing priority strategies produced by S&I into detailed communication plans with clear deliverables.
» Working collaboratively with S&I, agree strategic priorities and translate them into communication objectives and success measures, conduct audience segmentation using insight and data, and assess strategic choices/trade-offs
» Crafting tailored messaging for target audiences, identifying proof points and opportunities to tell the government's story in an engaging way
» Maintaining strong (account management) relationships with various parts of the business.
» Identifying and allocating budget for (non-content/digital activity) and managing budgetary approvals.
» Identifying and sourcing key content that can be developed to promote priority work.
» Managing workflow inside the branch - record and track progress of work taken on by the branch.
» Managing a team key communication account professionals
» Contributing to the effective management of the Strategy, Insights and Advisory Division by adhering to relevant financial management practices, quality management practices and public administration policies (related to right to information, risk management etc.).
» Fulfilling the responsibilities of this role in accordance with the department's guiding principles.
» Supporting and complying with workplace health and safety anti-discrimination and equal opportunity principles and practices.
