SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOUR NEW THE ROLE WILL ENTAIL
Full details will be provided in detail at the client interview but will include - Managing and leading 6 direct reports with teams of their own; scope of authority to approve contractor invoices, leave and various other items; Oversee day to day operations; Manage employee and contractor requirements; Manage Department costs; Ensure teams successfully install products; Maintain and develop stakeholder relationships; Negotiate contractor rates; Review and improve operational effectiveness including identifying areas to improve quality of service, productivity & profitability; Liaison with the Financial Controller on all department accounting issues; Developing succession plans; Overseeing department administration; Preparation of various weekly & monthly reports plus strategic plans with objectives; Meeting with direct reports and other stakeholders including contractors to review both positive and negative performance; Ensuring the department has best practice business alignment.
Full PD will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH
Reports to Managing Director and Executive Management Team.
VITAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE
You will need to have experience in Logistics, Contractor Management as well as good people and customer management.
A Construction White or Blue card is preferred.
A current drivers license is essential.
