We are currently looking to recruit a Manager Finance to lead and manage a small but highly competent and engaged team. Reporting to the Director Planning & Corporate Services this key role will manage our financial systems and work collaboratively with the organisation, leading the budget process and driving financial governance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing the annual budget, strategic resource plans and long-term financial strategy
- Providing projections on a monthly basis that can assist with decision making
- Managing council’s investment portfolios
- Preparation of the annual financial statements
- Manage and lead a small team
- Advise and assist the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on financial matters
To be successful in this role, you should have a professional qualification and be a full member of CPA/CA or equivalent, coupled with substantial experience in a similar environment. You will have an eagerness to work across the organisation and uplift the organisations financial capability and awareness.
In return you will have the opportunity to work on the implementation of a new finance system whilst working with a supportive leadership team. This role will offer good work flexibility and the opportunity to work a day from home per week.
