Beautopia seeks a customer service orientated Manager for our hair and beauty store located in the Dymocks Building Sydney CBD.
We are a small passionate team, so the incoming Manager will need a "hands on" leadership approach as well as being strategic to manage this well established business.
We sell all the major brands in the hair and beauty industry and with approximately 6000 sku’s our business has a diverse range of products.
To be successful you must:
- Be a highly motivated and results driven person with outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Have the ability to effectively operate a store.
- Be highly organised and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
- Have experience in sales, with an understanding or history with stock control.
- Be motivated and have a great eye for detail
- You will need to be confident and outgoing and comfortable to work as part of a small team.
- Hairdressing background is essential as we mainly focus on hair products.
- Have previous management experience
Key responsibilities include
- In store sales, assisting with customers in person and by phone.
- Monitor stock levels of all products and ordering when required.
- Experience with Stock takes /cycle counts.
- Picking and packing of orders, including invoicing and branch transfers.
- Housekeeping and maintenance of the store.
- General administration.
- Opening and closing of the store and cash handling/banking.
- Planning growth of the store in consultation with management.
- Managing a small team
- Promotion of our core brands including Jeval Italy Hair colour jeval.com.au and Fanola colour and retail products
Full training will be provided on systems/procedures and core brands.
