The Position
St John of God Mt Lawley is a 205 bed private hospital located on the banks of the Swan River. We are a major provider of Rehabilitation and surgical services across Western Australia. We have vast experience delivering inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation to both public and private patients. Our services are supported by a team of experienced leaders, nurses, allied health and medical caregivers.
We are currently seeking an experienced Hotel Services Manager to provide leadership and overall accountability within SJG Mt Lawley Hospital, including cleaning, waste, linen, uniforms, security, parking and fleet support. This position provides direction and operational support to the relevant team leaders and administration officer within hotel services.
The position will be offered on a permanent full-time basis working 76 hours a fortnight, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will have:

- Relevant qualification in a relevant field and/or significant demonstrated experience.
- Experience and demonstrated skills in a management role within a health care or similar environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to provide leadership in a complex, professional work environment and influence the achievement of required outcomes in areas of professional responsibility.
- Experience developing and monitoring budgets.
- Highly developed strategic, conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, inspire and motivate teams.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of continuous quality and systems improvement.
- Ability to hold a security officers license in Western Australia.
