As Manager, Planning you will manage the pipeline of initiatives and program of work for Home Claims Customers. This role is responsible for providing recommendations on prioritisation of initiatives in accordance with the Home Claims strategy to achieve Best in Class claims.
What you’ll do
- Work with the EM Customer Experience, Learning & Change to develop and execute a prioritisation framework for initiative management of the pipeline within Home Claims Customers.
- Provide monthly status updates on the pipeline of initiatives and ideas including emerging themes identified across the backlog.
- Manage the initial prioritisation, estimation (high level) and value realisation for new initiatives and provide recommendations to continue, add to backlog or stop
- Conduct root cause analysis, define problem statements and value creation for key initiatives and themes in the pipeline to assist with prioritisation recommendations.
- Allocate initiatives according to team accountabilities and funding requirements.
- Assess the initial viability of Enterprise Projects and the impacts to Home Claims including HCCLT awareness.
- Support the annual business planning process to design initiatives, working with key stakeholders within Home Claims Customers, Home Prevention & Protection Portfolio and across Suncorp
- Ensure alignment of initiatives and timing across the roadmaps for Home Claims to drive best in class customer and business outcomes.
- Provide recommendations to the Home Claims Customers Leadership team to support sequencing of delivery of initiatives to support effective implementation of change.
- Provide coaching to peers across Home Claims Customers around ideation, such as problem definition, root cause analysis and value creation.
What you’ll bring
- Some professional qualification/training in Project Delivery, Information Technology
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project and portfolio management
- Strong operational knowledge of the business
- Experience working on large programs of work.
- Experiencing planning Change Delivery across large people teams.
