We are seeking Manager – Procurement & Contract Advisory to join our INPEX Contracts & Procurement department based in Perth. This role will provide leadership, support and commercial excellence to our C&P function.

Key responsibilities include:
Motivate, engage and lead a diverse and high-performing purchasing and contracting team
Develop a continuous improvement and service-oriented culture to ensure efficient, fit-for-purpose processes in line with business needs
Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and generate value
Provide expert advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of procurement to encourage innovative practices and support delivery of business and policy directions
Establish and drive achievement of procurement and contracting goals and KPIs, in line with C&P and company goals
Manage the performance of outsourced procurement services
Collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups to align on objectives, optimise external spend and resolve supplier performance issues
Key qualifications, skills and experience required:
Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, law or related area
CIPS or equivalent qualification in Procurement and Supply Chain Management preferred
Extensive relevant procurement experience, with a preference for oil & gas or mining industry experience, using Material Resource Planning (MRP)
Strong experience in procurement improvement
Proven people leadership capability
Personable, effective in building relationships, communicating and influencing all levels of the business, including internal and external stakeholders
Familiar with strategic sourcing and category management
SAP procurement system proficiency, including SAP-MM and SAP Ariba
