Providing expert guidance within Queensland Health and across government and other stakeholders, you will ensure alignment with government priorities. Representing Queensland Health at an inter-agency level, you will address and progress policy issues, overseeing the formulation and management of strategic policies, protocols, and communication strategies.

Success in this role requires leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills honed through experience in building and leading proficient teams. Additionally, you should exhibit strategic, conceptual, critical thinking, and analytical abilities, with a proven history of identifying, negotiating, influencing, and executing solutions to intricate problems. Furthermore, you must demonstrate project management experience, encompassing the ability to develop, implement, analyse, and assess policy and program-related projects.
Your communication skills, both written and oral, should be adept, facilitating effective consultation, negotiation, and the preparation and presentation of policy-related reports.
