About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) has a unique opportunity for an outstanding and high performing supply and logistics Manager to join the SWH leadership team.
SWH is currently undertaking construction of a completely new and genuinely integrated Regional Supply, Procurement and Linen Service. This purpose-built standalone facility at a site located close to the main Hospital Campus will be fully equipped with a robotic warehouse system; a linen service equipped with all new equipment including RFID technology; and has been designed with capacity to service all health services in South West Victoria.
The position leads a genuine regional service that is part of a collaborative model that includes all Public Health Services in South West Victoria. The role has responsibility for a service that supports all agencies for:

  • Full supply chain function
  • Centralised warehouse
  • Leadership in the procurement function
  • A fully locally governed and managed linen service
  • The distribution system that supports the above and some other associated services
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will have overall responsibility for the operations of a central supply facility operating as South West Supply and Logistics (SWSL) and the South West Regional Linen Services. This is a fabulous career opportunity for an experienced leader to be part of this new exciting new phase and development at SWH.
Permanent Full time position available (80 hours per fortnight with a monthly ADO)
