The North East Link Project will deliver the missing link in Melbourne's road network that will finally complete the Metropolitan Ring Road by connecting the M80 to the Eastern Freeway to improve outer north-south links for road freight movement and improve travel time and reliability.

About North East Link
North East Link is the biggest ever investment in Melbourne's north-east – changing the way people move around Melbourne.
Victoria's longest road tunnels will fix the missing link in our city's freeway network, take 15,000 trucks off local roads a day and slash travel times by up to 35 minutes. We'll also complete the Ring Road in Greensborough, overhaul the Eastern Freeway, build Melbourne's first dedicated busway and the North East Trail – more than 34km of walking and cycling paths.
About the Opportunity
Be part of a transformative infrastructure project for Victoria, with an exciting role in the North East Link Program's Project Controls Team!
We are currently seeking a proficient Risk Manager to join the North East Link Programs Controls Team. Reporting to the Director, Project Controls, this role is predominately responsible for providing strategic and operational support in the on-going implementation and maintenance of NELP's risk and issue management.
Specifically, this role has a strong focus on supporting, training and guiding the Program in regards to risk and issue processes, developing and maintaining specific documentation to manage risks and developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Travel and time spent at a future site office (Bulleen, Heidelberg or Watsonia) may be a requirement of this position.
About You
You have:
- Experience in the development and application of risk management policies and procedures, based on AS/NZS ISO 31000: 2009.
- Understanding of risk management trends and issues nationally and internationally across a variety of sectors.
- Experience within managing risk in a live project environment, specifically within the infrastructure projects space.
- Experience in government reporting and processes is desirable.
- Ability to manage a team.
