Manager - Service Experience Office

- Report directly to the Executive Director and provide leadership, management and planning for a busy Service Experience Office.
- Permanent role, Full-Time
- $168,187. Package includes salary ($131,094pa - $151,609pa), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- Hybrid working, Parramatta location
About You/ Role
The Manager Service Experience Office plays a critical role in leading the development and delivery of stakeholder management, communications management and change management strategies for the Service Experience Directorate.
You are a pivotal point of liaison, partnering with the Executive Director and the Service Experience Leadership Team to provide expert advice on change management and cultural development strategies. Leading the cultural change agenda, you will ensure corporate users and schools are the centre of executive decision making.
Key knowledge and experience
- Strong experience in managing cultural change initiatives such as delivering change planning, detailed change and business impact assessments, assessing a range of change intervention options and monitoring the progress of change programs to deliver customer outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management including communications and engagement experience.
- Strong understanding of current issues and trends in Education, including an understanding of the principles that inform quality service delivery and operational consistency.
- Knowledge of, and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
The person we’re looking for:
- Is comfortable engaging with Senior Executives, providing advice, counsel and guidance on best practice change management strategies, communication and engagement.
- Excels in stakeholder management, understands the benefits of broad engagement and consistent messaging in communication.
- Thrives in leading cultural change initiatives that positively impact people and their employment experience.
Essential requirements of the role
- Tertiary qualifications in business, project management, communications, change and/or equivalent demonstrated experience.
