The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager Testing and Transition to join our growing Motorway Systems team within our Infrastructure and Place (I&P) division.
Centre to Centre (C2C) system is the core interface supporting integration between private motorways and surrounding arterial network and other TfNSW systems. C2C provides the exchange of Traffic Management and Incident Management information in near real-time, extending visibility and control across operational boundaries
The role ensures new and modified systems as a part of Centre to Centre (C2C) Interface portfolio of projects supporting integrated road network operations across the existing motorway portfolio and TfNSW ICT systems meet the agreed expectations of the business, customers and users through best practice testing and assurance, and management of a smooth transition to live operations. Providing guidance and support regarding systems assurance compliance, risk assessments and risk controls throughout project lifecycle. Developing processes and documentation supporting assurance and compliance requirements. Working in a highly complex integrated solution environment, this role will be building relationship with stakeholders, providing assurance over multiple platforms and projects.
About you
We are looking for an experienced Test Manager that has:
- Tertiary qualifications in ICT or Computer Systems or Electrical Engineering or related experience.
- Solid experience in managing testing function with hands on experience in developing test strategy, test cases and test execution with a high level of autonomy.
- Sound knowledge and experience in Test Automation.
- Demonstrated experience working in a highly complex integrated solution environment supporting multiple systems with different environments and providing assurance over multiple platforms and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level specialist engineering and technical advice including assuring the technical competence of staff and contractors.
- Very strong stakeholder relationship building skills.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Grade 9 ($142,178.00) – ($159,238.00) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
