Form of work Residential – Tom Price/Onslow | Full time, Maximum Term (5 year contract)
Indicative annual package $207,113.00 includes housing provision (main allocation is in Tom Price. Onslow will be considered subject to negotiation) and annual allowances. Starting salary is negotiable, dependent on skills and experience. Other benefits include super matching scheme of up to 22.5% pa, relocation financial support up to $15,000 (conditions apply) and 6-weeks annual leave.
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated leader to join our Waste Services team.
Reporting to the Director Infrastructure Services, this key position is responsible for the development and implementation of effective strategies for the Shire's commercial and domestic waste responsibilities, including education, collection, recycling and disposal of solid waste, provision and management of landfills, transfer stations and resource recovery centres.
In conjunction with efficiently managing all townsite waste facilities, a key focus for this role will be the progression of the delivery of the Class IV facility to its full potential.
Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, waste management and project management experience and must be able to demonstrate a high level of honesty, integrity, can-do attitude and achievement orientated performance. Regular travel to other Shire towns is a requirement of this role.
