SalaryManiltoa Children's Centre opened in January 2020 in Coolalinga (near the Coolalinga Central Shopping Centre). The centre has been designed with a natural flow between the indoor and outdoor environments, where children can explore and discover in a play-based learning environment.
There are four flexible groupings (infants, toddlers, kinder and preschool) based on age and developmental observation and children move through spaces in collaboration with families and educators. Our curriculum philosophy and belief that children have the right to learn through a play based educational program in a caring environment.

Skills and experience
As an educator, you are expected to be an active team member of a team which provides high-quality early childhood education and care to children.
This includes:
Developing strong relationships with children at the service;
Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families and the community;
Assist team/room educators to deliver effective and valuable documentation of children's learning in accordance with the Mission, Values and beliefs, Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework.
Model and support team/room educators to utilise a variety of teaching strategies including intentional teaching and reflective practice in daily work.
Implementing the policies and associated procedures of the organisation at all times
Working with other educators to uphold and promote the services mission, beliefs and values when undertaking all actions and duties
To work in accordance with the requirements of Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care;
Working in accordance with the Code of Ethics of the Early Childhood Australia
To work within Maniltoa Children's Centre Code of Conduct for educators
Evidence of commitment to play based learning in a caring environment
Knowledge (or willingness to undertake new learning) of Reggio Emilia and RIE approaches to curriculum
Must have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or meet the ACECQA definition of actively working toward and provide evidence of consistent progress towards a timely completion).
Must have a current Working with Children's Clearance and HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an education and care setting or HLTAID004 - Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting.
Provide evidence of Covid 19 vaccination
Remuneration is based on the Children's Services Award 2010, qualifications and years of experience e.g. a full-time Level 4.1 Child Care Worker will receive $$57,631.60 per year plus 10% superannuation as per the Children's Services Award 2010
