As an experienced Manufacturing Engineer, you'll join a fast-paced environment that pushes you to achieve your best as you partner with the business to deliver its products and improve its processes.
But you won't do it alone - you'll be supported every step of the way. What does this involve?
Think regular 1-on-1 feedback and close contact with the Engineering Manager, working together with the whole Engineering team, and enough space to let you show your talents and make your own mark.
This position has responsibility for providing professional engineering services and working closely with site stakeholders including Production, Maintenance, Research and Development and EHS while also managing numerous capital projects.
We will depend on you to maintain a high standard of plant services, facilities and computerised systems to ensure we are compliant with our safety and quality standards.
Your responsibilities, at a glance:
Lead and support capital, continuous improvement and automation projects for equipment, utilities and facilities
Provide SME support to key site stakeholders whilst keeping engineering and relevant project teams fully informed of activities
Act as lead (project or technical) for projects as identified by Supply Chain, Contract Services, Quality & Production Management teams. As such, this individual will provide the technical support to achieve these project goals
Write and perform comprehensive trial protocols
Support and troubleshoot maintenance issues and system failures
System owner for maintenance support systems and manage the contractor relationship for these systems
Deliver technical aspects of a compliant documentation process and manage GMP documentation to execute requirements for facilities projects
Use Lean tools and techniques to ensure equipment capacity is optimised to drive efficiency and cost reduction
Provide engineering support to all departments as required
You need to tick these boxes

You'll also need to possess the following:
Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline with at least 7 years experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment
Experience working within a regulated environment and an understanding of GMP, Quality and Regulatory requirements of the FDA & TGA (desirable)
Understanding of manufacturing process and equipment
Knowledge, experience in introduction of new products, packaging components (desirable)
Experience in Project Management and ability to prioritise and coordinate projects
Demonstrated high level of technical writing skills and document management
Ability to prioritise and delegate tasks to tight time frames; good time management skills
Ability to build strong business relationships with both internal and external customers
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Strong understanding of computerised facility equipment systems
