As they grew and evolved it became clear that they needed to add to an already impressive product line, and after comprehensive research, became the exclusive distributor of Seakeeper Gyro Stabilisers and Seakeeper Ride.
Based at the Gold Coast and reporting to the Hybrid Applications Engineer, the key duties for the role will include:
* Install and set to work marine equipment and apparatus across electrical, engineering, plumbing, boatbuilding and mechanical disciplines, including but not limited to: Engines, Transmissions, Batteries, Electric Motors, Seakeeper Gyro Stabilisers, Thruster Systems, Shafts and Couplings, Steering Systems, Thermal Management Systems, Plumbing systems incl. Pumps/Inlets/strainers/valves/heat exchangers.
* Interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics to accurately assemble and install marine equipment/apparatus.
* Ensure equipment and apparatus are installed to the required quality standard, adhering to manufacturers requirements and Australian standards to guarantee the integrity and functionality of installed components.
* Follow instruction from Marine and Hybrid application engineers and other technicians to ensure seamless integration of components into marine vessels.
* Support commissioning activities and data collection on active sea trials.
* Complete project tasking with a whole vessel focus implementing diverse activities as required by the project.
To undertake this role, ideally you have the following work experience, skills, and personal attributes:
* Hold a trade or engineering qualification.
* Minimum of five years post qualification experience in the marine industry.
* Proven marine equipment installation experience.
* Strong communication and time management skills.
* Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
* Can do attitude and happy to support diverse work tasks.
