MBL also has a specialist machinery division suppling an extensive range of food processing equipment and machinery specializing in butchers' machinery, supplying the butchery, bakery, seafood, food manufacturing, and hospitality industries and welcomes the public to buy online.
About the role:
An exciting newly created opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Marketing and Communications Manager. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing General Manager, you will be primary be responsible for MBL's Marketing and Communications Strategy focusing on optimising the digital marketing strategy, managing our social media strategies, internal and external communications and customer & industry events as required.
This position will be located at our Athol Park site
Key Accountabilities include:
- Lead digital marketing initiatives, encompassing SEO, social media, email campaigns, and online advertising, to expand MBL's digital footprint and engage a broader audience.
- Oversee the planning and execution of traditional marketing campaigns, including print media, events, and sponsorships, to enhance brand visibility and strengthen relationships within the membership and industry.
- Marketing and its messaging are in line with MBL’s corporate goals
- Establish initiatives, policies and procedures that deliver ongoing improvements in service delivery.
- Create, implement and oversee internal and external communication programs that effectively describe and promote MBL’s products and services
About You:
- Proven experienced as a marketing leader who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Marketing and communication tools and technologies, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, marketing automation platforms, and content management systems
- Self-driven with the ability to work through ambiguous situations and provide clear solutions.
- Energetic, passionate and motivated individual with excellent attention to detail who is able to work autonomously.
- Experienced in managing multiple Marketing and Communications projects and you understand market strategies, positioning, branding, and opportunities to promote products both online and through our members.
- Pride yourself in your ability to engage and present to our members and key stakeholders confidently.
- Exceptional leadership skills, communication skills and the ability to be to develop effective respectful relationships with team members.
- Ideally, have previous experience working within a Co-operative environment.
