Your new role
The BD Assistant will support a busy and expanding team with a strong focus on a predominantly Local Government portfolio. You will deliver concise and up-to-date market information to help identify opportunities for growth ensuring the overall success of the team. You will undertake detailed research and marketing activities, respond to a raft of tenders, and proposals, update and create case studies, trends analysis, and other Business Development tools, and network at industry events, with peak bodies. You pride yourself on creating targeted and advantageous relationships that enable opportunities to flow. The role will suit a self-starter who wants to add value and thrives on creating tangible solutions for the team.
About You
You are an experienced marketing, Business Development and research assistant with experience in a similar role, ideally from within local government or have supported this sector in a previous role. A degree in Marketing, Communications or similar relevant education and proven experience with writing, and responding to bids, tenders and proposals in a professional services environment (research, government agency or consultancy) is highly preferable.
