Marketing Coordinator
The Association of Wall and Ceiling Industries of Australia and New Zealand (AWCI ANZ) is the peak representative body for contractors, suppliers and manufacturers throughout the wall and ceiling industries.
Working with the guidance of a dynamic and engaged Board the AWCI ANZ coordinates common programs, produces a quarterly trade magazine, operates a training organisation, hosts an annual conference, supports the State and New Zealand Associations with marketing and technical support and lobbies on behalf of the Federation on issues of national significance.
The opportunity
Reporting to the CEO, an opportunity exists initially on a two-year contract, for an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join our team and implement the marketing and communications objectives of the AWCI ANZ.
This is a truly unique opportunity for an entry level marketing professional who has some experience and is looking to get exposure to the different facets of the marketing profession and take their career to the next level. You will be able to make the role your own and grow with the organisation as the role expands overtime.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Driving member value and enhancing engagement by developing and implementing engaging marketing, communications and content in line with strategic directions
- Develop and implement the communications, brand and marketing plan, calendar, and communication cycle with the support of key stakeholders
- Coordinate and grow sponsor, supplier and corporate member relationships
- Organise, facilitate, and promote conferences, key events, and awards
- Oversee and integrate digital assets including AWCI ANZ and RTO websites and social media
- Oversee and integrate physical marketing assets including merchandise, signage, displays and literature for AWCI ANZ and RTO, and support Affiliate and Corporate members, national suppliers, and sponsors
- Support with implementing the annual marketing budget and track and review budget in line with targets
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a marketing function
- Exposure in the associations/not-for-profit sector is desirable but not essential
- Experience coordinating marketing and communications campaigns across multiple channels, including events, print and digital
- Results-driven, self-motivated and passionate about working in supporting members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence
- A commitment to team, as well as a proactive, positive and strong client-centric focus
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing or related business discipline
The role is based in Melbourne, with flexible working arrangements on offer where you will have the choice to work mostly remotely with the occasional days in the office.
